Jeep, a subsidiary brand of automotive conglomerate Stellantis, has unveiled the latest fully-electric model in its portfolio as it looks to manufacturer its Jeep Wrangler model using green engines.

The company has announced consumers may have to wait a few years before the launch of the "Wrangler Magneto" owing to it currently being in the concept stage.

As a concept, it will be built by automakers to specific standards in order to gauge consumer interest before committing to a particular design.
According to a media event held by the brand, Jeep is set to offer some form of electrification going into the future. The company recently started selling a hybrid version of the Wrangler under the "4xe" name.
The Magneto is set to be a battery-electric that the company describe as "a stealthy, quiet, quick and unmistakable rock climbing force."
The Jeep has inbuilt 4x4 capabilities and is claimed to offer new levels of efficiency and, environmental responsibility and performance both on-road and off-road.
The concept is based on the two-door 2020 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon.
The vehicle comes with a six-speed manual transmission, according to the head of Jeep design Mark Allen, adding that the vehicle “has the best characteristics of an automatic transmission but the 'direct-drive feel' of a manual transmission, which is a key draw for off-road enthusiasts."

The Magneto was unveiled alongside a number of other concept vehicles for the Easter Jeep Safari, including the Jeepster Beach, the Jeep Red Bare, the Jeep Orange Peelz and the Jeep Farout unveiled at the press event in Moab, Utah.
