Andrézieux-Bouthéon-based packaging company Acti-Pack has announced a new range of polyethylene terephthalate (PET) packaging for use in the health and personal care industry.
Acti-Pack
The French business relies on the cosmetics industry for 65% of its sales and has updated its portfolio to meet the often stringent requirements of the industry that they provide for.
Their portfolio is expansive and many French and wider European firms use their products for packaging their goods and have been widely adapted in packaging shampoos, shower gels, sun care, lotions, hair gels, skincare creams and more.
More recently, however, they shifted production temporarily to answer the call of frontline workers during the pandemic by providing packaging for storage of various sanitising products.
Their new product - "Revok" - is characterised by its cylindrical design with the cap aligned with the body of the bottle. They hope this sleeker look will make gripping the container far easier and also ease labelling for the companies who use it for their products.
Available in any size from 100 to 250ml, Revok has been engineered to perfectly match the newer criteria for the cosmetics industry and was a joint effort with their sister company, Loire Plastic Industrie.
The new PET packaging is easily customisable by using transparent or opaque colouring and decorated by print or labelling.
Acti-Pack claims their product is 100% recyclable, producing bespoke containers ranging anywhere from 25-100% in post-consumer recycle (PCR) materials, usually catered specifically to the client's needs.
They are due to show off their new products at the Packaging Innovations conference in Warsaw, between the 24-25 September and Luxe Pack in Monaco from 30 September-3 December 2020.
