Reinforcing its drive to create a greener beauty industry, GEKA has been awarded its third Platinum rating for sustainability by EcoVadis. A leading provider of high precision cosmetics application solutions, medmix Beauty brand GEKA continues to demonstrate leadership in its sector as part of the top 1% of companies assessed.
EcoVadis provides the world’s most trusted business sustainability ratings. Companies rely on EcoVadis to provide comprehensive sustainability reports that accurately benchmark their overall performance and to inform about their sustainability strategies. Participants can encourage transparency by sharing this information with stakeholders and utilize it to inform sustainability strategies.
The reports focus on four main categories, which together provide an overall score. In its sector, GEKA ranked among the top 1% of companies for Labor & Human Rights in addition to the top 2% for Environment and Sustainable Procurement (both up from the top 6% in 2021).

EcoVadis is not the only independent expert GEKA is collaborating with to transparently support its customers and suppliers in attaining environmental targets. Recently, the business committed to reducing its greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions by 30% in 2029 compared to 2019, which was independently validated by the Science Based Target Initiative (SBTi). Recently, offering more detail and enhanced transparency, GEKA has released its first annual sustainability report, which assessed its environmental, social and governance performance from October 2020 to September 2021.
