As a result of Russia's military actions against Ukraine, Finland-headquartered elevator producer KONE has joined other companies to cease deliveries to Russia.

KONE has also stopped signing new orders for the time being. "Our top priority is the safety of our employees and their families in all locations affected by the war in Ukraine", says Henrik Ehrnrooth, President and CEO of KONE Corporation.
Founded in Finland in 1910, KONE has been in business for more than a century. In line with its mission to improve the flow of urban life, KONE provides elevators, escalators and automatic building doors, as well as solutions for maintenance and modernisation to add value to buildings throughout their life cycle.

KONE operates in more than 60 countries around the world, serving approximately 550,000 customers. Headquartered in Helsinki, Finland, the group has seven global R&D centres and ten manufacturing units in seven countries, as well as a worldwide network of agents and authorised distributors.
In 2021, KONE had annual sales of EUR 10.5 billion, and at the end of the year over 60,000 employees. KONE Russia accounts for less than 1% of global annual sales. KONE has approximately 650 employees in Russia.
