The Curious2022 - Future Insight Conference, takes place from July 12 -14, 2022 in Darmstadt, FrankfurtRheinMain, Germany, as hybrid event allowing on-site and online participation.

This is the world's most renowned gathering on the future of science & technology. It covers a broad range of topics such as: health, nutrition, synthetic biology, materials, energy, digitalization, mobility, human mind and new ways of working together.

The conference will feature several awards. The 1 Mio EUR Future Insight™ prize, up to 1 mio€/year for groundbreaking science given out for the next 35 years. The 2022 category is on CO₂ conversion. The Johann Anton Merck award is a prestigious annual achievement award for outstanding scientific preclinical research accomplishments in the areas of Merck Biopharma‘s strategic focus. The Nature Speak-up for Science prize – in collaboration with Nature Research – is also given out at the Curious2022.
