Volvo Cars has recently launched its compact premium SUV XC40. It has attracted international attention not only for its design and smart features tailored to a partially new target group, but also because it is sold online with the Care City Volvo full service service.
In collaboration with the APLACE fashion store, it will now be possible to order online on a new XC40 online. Next to the shop's regular range of clothing and accessories by mainly Scandinavian designers, there is also a Volvo XC40.
"We started launching Care City Volvo a year ago and see that many people are interested in subscribing to a car at a fixed monthly cost and to order it online. It is a new situation for the automotive industry and we are pleased to join customers with APLACE online in one place they are used to. The reason for APLACE was over ten years ago with the fashion magazine ODD at Large and the fashion platform +46 during Stockholm's fashion week. Since 2007, APLACE has highlighted creative designers from across Scandinavia in its assortment in the online store Aplace.com and in the four stores in Stockholm and Malmö. In addition, the magazine APLACE Magazine is published twice a year.

Care by Volvo makes car ownership as transparent, easy and trouble-free as having a mobile phone subscription: a national, pre-negotiated monthly fee, combined with a new 24-month car. After ordering online, Care City Volvo customers will be able to drive away in a new Volvo without worrying about the traditional additional costs such as down payment, insurance, service charges and differences depending on region or customer age.
