Volvo Cars and Polestar together launch a new upgraded electrified performance offering called Polestar Engineered, specially developed for the company's new 60-series T8 Twin Engine plug-in hybrids.
Polestar Engineered, developed by Volvo Cars Power Performance, Polestar, is a complete offering that applies Polster's expertise in performance technology to the car's wheels, brakes, suspension and engine control unit. The offer reflects Volvo Cars and Poland's commitment to electrification.
"Electric cars are our future," says Håkan Samuelsson, President and CEO of Volvo Cars. Today, a new era of electrified Volvo models is being upgraded, upgraded with Poland's superior performance-enhancing technology. It is a strategy grounded firmly in our common belief the automotive industry will venture into an electric future.

Polestar Engineered is making a debut on the upcoming S60 Premium Sports Saddle. The offer is exclusively offered on the T8 Twin Engine flagship model and is thus a performance snap on Volvo's R Design models.
Polestar Engineered will also be offered on the new V60 and SUV mansion: an XC60 from next year and will be sold in a limited edition by Volvo dealers and the companies premium service, Care.
The new light alloy rims have an open design to focus on the eye-catching gold-coloured brake pad, the new colour that will characterised Polestar Engineered components. Polestar emblems, black chrome exhaust pipes and gold-coloured seat belts are features that identify Volvo cars are equipped with Polestar Engineered.
The Brembo mono-block brake buckle is cast in one piece and optimised with respect to twisting rigidity. The brake pads have a higher heat resistance while the brake discs have a design with grooves that further improve heat dissipation.
Polestar The Egineered multi-link suspension, both front and rear, has Öhlins premium shock absorber with dual-flow valve that allows for steeper springs and dampers while maintaining comfort. The spring bracket and the adjustable shock absorber assembly are of the same type as on the Performance Plug-in Hybrid Polestar 1.
Fine tuning of the engine control unit increases the power of the electrified T8 Twin Engine engine of S60 to 415 hp, with a torque of 680 Nm - in standard version, the T8 Twin Engine 400 hp delivers a torque of 670 Nm. Software upgrades improve fuel consumption and provide emission-neutral performance, and they also refine the gearbox intervals of the automatic transmission.
"The new S60 T8 Polestar Engineered is an electrified car that does what you want it to do," says Henrik Green, Senior Vice President Research and Development at Volvo Cars. All components have been fine-tuned to work together and create a car aimed at drivers, with fast response and exciting driving skills.
