French contractor, Vinci and construction company, Ares have come together to create a work-site logistics company named, Liva which aims to meet social integration requirements and contribute to innovation in work-site logistics.
Under the executive management of Ares, the company will operate throughout France and for a number of customers, starting with work-sites in the greater Paris region. The joint venture enterprise was developed at the Fondation Vinci pour la Cité initiative, with Ares receiving a 51 percent share in the company and Vinci with a 49 percent share.
Through Liva, the two companies will work together to increase current employment through three key goals.

The first is to boost the social integration of people by offering stable jobs with personalised socio-professional support. The second is to build bridges towards employment within the Vinci group by proposing to employees to change their career paths and venture into one of the group’s activities that are seeking to increase their workforce. The third goal is to professionalise work-site logistics by creating a comprehensive logistics solution based on digital technology and remote logistics management.
Located in Vinci Construction France’s Nanterre premises, Liva plans to take on its first integration programme employee in July 2018. The company has a target to hire 20 integration programme employees by the end of 2018, and about 50 more by the end of 2019.
