Skanska and Länsimetro Oy have joined forces to build a metro station in Kivenlahti, Espoo, Finland for €51 million.
The project includes an underground metro station, a maintenance and driving tunnel as well as two entrances above ground. The construction of the station will take place between 2018-2022. It will be the final one in the second section of the Western metro line that comprises altogether of five stations which will be altogether be completed by 2023.
The total volume of the station will be approximately 31,000 gross square meters. The forecasted daily amount of commuters passing through the station is approximately 11,000.
