Skanska has signed an agreement with Heba Fastighets AB to construct four rented houses with 142 apartments, premises and garage areas in the new district of Täby Park in Stockholm.
Täby Park is a brand new neighborhood in Stockholm, addressing and developing sustainable life in the urban environment. It is planned for 6,000 homes and about 5,000 workplaces.

Construction start is scheduled to begin in the fourth quarter of 2018 and occupation will take place in stages in autumn 2020.
"We are seeing increased interest in rental rights that allow many to obtain a home based on their own needs. It is also clear that long-term property owners like Heba are interested in investing in this type of accommodation, "says Britta Cesar Munck, regional manager, Skanska Hyresbostäder Sweden.
The development of the area is run by Täby Park Exploatering, a partnership between JM and Skanska with the purpose of planning and preparing for the construction of the Täby Park district. The land area comprises of approximately 70 hectares and the goal is to construct a brand new neighbourhood with a total of approximately 6,000 homes, as well as workplaces and service offerings will be developed. Total project time is to be fully completed in 15-20 years. The first detail plan comprises about 400 condominiums for Skanska's and about 140 rental rights.
