In 2018, Nokian Tyres launched a whole new type of tractor tyre. Combining the strength of an earthmoving tyre with a new kind of lug pattern, the versatile new Nokian Tractor King tyre pushed the boundaries of tractor work in demanding forestry, earthmoving and road maintenance applications. Now eight new sizes spread the revolution even further.
With the increase in machine weights, horsepower and road speeds comes the need for a new kind of tractor tyre. Nokian Tractor King tyre is brimming with innovation, challenging users to push the limits of tractor work. With the high load capacity of 320 kPa, Nokian Tractor King tyre also supports the use of heavy tractor accessories.

“Forestry, earthmoving and road maintenance are examples of work that can benefit from Nokian Tractor King tyre”, says Teemu Vainionpää, Product Manager at Nokian Tyres. “Tough conditions call for strong carcass and Aramid-reinforced sidewalls, while road transports in speeds up to 65 km/h become smoother with the clever new pattern design.”
The new tractor tyre is already in use in many countries. “The users have been impressed with the extra traction provided by the tyre’s double lug pattern”, Teemu says. “Mud or slippery rocks, the wide contact area improves the tyre’s grip and handling.”
15 different sizes
In 2018, Nokian Tractor King tyre was first made available in seven sizes: 540/65R28, 540/70R30, 600/65R34, 600/70R34, 650/65R38, 650/75R38, 710/75R42
To make the tyre compatible with even wider range of machinery, eight new sizes are now available for orders, with the deliveries beginning in July: 500/65R28, 600/60R28, 540/65R30, 600/70R30, 620/75R30, 600/65R38, 650/85R38, 710/70R42
“We want to spread the revolution, of course”, Teemu Vainionpää says. “That’s why it’s essential to make Nokian Tractor King tyre available for a wide range of machines.”
