The Solaris AfterSales network brings this support close to customers through more than 60 external service partners, around 250 authorized customer workshops and service teams of Solaris subsidiaries in 16 countries. It connects local service capabilities with the knowledge of zero-emission technology experts across the entire organization.
For more than a decade, Solaris has been delivering electric buses to European cities and supporting some of the largest zero-emission bus fleets on the continent. More than 7,000 zero-emission vehicles delivered and supported by Solaris in daily operation across dozens of markets have created extensive practical knowledge of batteries, high-voltage systems, hydrogen technology, charging strategies and fleet maintenance.

🟢E-MOBILITY EXCELLENCE
Solaris has deployed a structured service approach combining local skilled support through our certified service partners capable of assisting zero-emissions vehicles with dedicated training and tools. In parallel, Solaris has an expert team, the so-called E-Team, capable of supporting remotely and in the field the most challenging situations.
For battery-electric buses, key areas include battery diagnostics, high-voltage systems and energy management. Hydrogen technology requires expertise in fuel cells, hydrogen storage and safety procedures. Trolleybuses rely on specialized knowledge of power electronics, power supply systems and vehicle interaction with traction infrastructure. The team is responsible for remote fleet monitoring and diagnostics, analyzing high-voltage system issues, and cooperating with key component suppliers and product development teams.
One of the key tools used by the e-Mobility team is Solaris’ proprietary eSConnect platform. It enables remote monitoring of vehicle operating parameters, analysis of operational events and support for diagnostics of batteries, high-voltage systems and drivetrains. By analyzing telemetry data, system logs and event history, experts can identify the source of a problem promptly. For operators, this means faster diagnostics, better preparation of service teams and shorter vehicle downtime.
🟢A SUPPORT MODEL BUILT AROUND THE OPERATOR
The knowledge of the e-Mobility team is part of a broader Solaris support model, combining local presence with access to specialized expertise. An important element of this approach is preparing local teams to independently and safely operate zero-emission vehicles. In more demanding cases, support is provided by Solaris subsidiaries, mobile “Flying Doctors” service teams, and technical experts from Solaris Bus & Coach headquarters. The most complex cases are escalated to teams with advanced knowledge and diagnostic capabilities.

A support model built around the operator
Solaris develops a certification system for service partners based on common technical standards, safety procedures, training programs and regular qualification verification. Particular importance is given to skills related to diagnostics, high-voltage system maintenance and safe handling of advanced zero-emission components. This allows routine servicing and most repairs to be performed directly by customer workshops and local service partners.
Support covers the entire vehicle lifecycle. Retrofit solutions, including battery replacement with newer generations, allow operators to modernize existing buses, adapt them to current operational needs and extend their effective service life.
For operators, the key question is not only: how quickly can a vehicle reach the workshop? Equally important is whether the issue will be correctly diagnosed and whether the necessary expertise is available to resolve it. That is why Solaris develops a support model combining local presence, digital diagnostics and specialized expertise built through years of zero-emission fleet operation. This approach enables operators not only to introduce new technologies, but above all to use them effectively in everyday public transport.
