A highlight of the event was the inauguration of Trane’s new dedicated assembly line for data centre solutions, nearly tripling manufacturing capacity and supporting the growing demand for high-quality, reliable thermal management technology. This investment underscores Trane Technologies’ commitment to sustainable growth for data centre clients in Europe, Middle East, Africa, Australia and New Zealand regions, while also strengthening local economies.
During the three-day event, attendees participated in guided tours and hands-on demonstrations of Trane’s expanded portfolio for edge, colocation, and hyperscale data centre. The showcased solutions included advanced air and liquid cooling solutions such as Computer Room Air Handlers (CRAH), fan wall units, high-efficiency chillers, precision cooling systems, and heat recovery technologies – all engineered to deliver reliable cooling, reduce total power usage effectiveness (PUE), and advance decarbonisation efforts across data centre applications.
Participants engaged directly with Trane’s engineering specialists, discussed future expectations, and learned about the rigorous quality control procedures that ensure every customised unit meets the highest standards and requirements.
"With significant investment in our manufacturing capacity and capabilities here in Charmes, Trane Technologies continues to support resilient, high-quality thermal management solutions for data centres across Europe and beyond," said Christian Borel, Operations Leader France at Trane. “By opening our doors and bringing together key industry actors, we are advancing dialogue and partnership to address the challenges and opportunities in sustainable growth. This event also served as a valuable forum for diverse voices within the industry, encouraging discussions on regional priorities such as heat recovery and the need for greater energy and water efficiency across data centres."
