Parker Hannifin, the global leader in motion and control technologies, launches the next variation of its innovative DFplus® Gen IV valve range. Expanding the platform with a D-version option, this product supports customer-specific closed-loop functions and enables direct connection and power supply of analog sensors. It is therefore suitable, for example, for pressure control in paper machines as well as for rapid pressure control and relief in high-speed presses.

The new D-version valve adds a second, freely configurable control loop to the direct-operated DFplus platform, enabling customized pressure control or position control. For these closed-loop functions, analog pressure or displacement measurement systems can be connected directly to the valve electronics, with sensor power supplied by the valve electronics. The DFplus valves have been in use over several generations, and this option is being introduced as part of the fourth generation.
The D-version includes the DFplus pilot valve performance with a high-resolution sensor signal interface and selectable setpoint type for an analog setpoint signal. It supports a freely configurable second control loop and uses standard IO-Link Class A, with an optional IO-Link Class B variant that can provide a switchable controller. Sensors are connected via an M12 socket on the valve electronics and powered via the valve electronics. The option is available for the valve series D1FP, D3FP, and D30FP. Configuration can be carried out using Parker ProPXD software or through an IO-Link connection.
