myNORD update: Innovations ready to use

This year, NORD DRIVESYSTEMS accomplished the comprehensive relaunch of the central myNORD customer portal. The digital self-service solution focuses on an efficient and transparent procurement process. On the way to an innovative and interactive e-commerce platform, the drive experts added further features to the online tool.

“Everybody who uses the myNORD online portal on a regular basis may have noticed several new functions”, says Jörg Niermann, Head of Marketing at NORD DRIVESYSTEMS. “The launch of the new and simplified myNORD product configurator and of the product search implemented advanced functions, a modern design and the possibility to order NORD drive solutions online.” Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Sweden, Norway, Spain, Italy and France as well as the international sales and service partners in numerous countries have already gone live. Customers from Germany can also look forward to an extra service – they can now use myNORD to view the estimated delivery time of their ordered products ex works.

How does myNORD work?

Users can use the myNORD customer portal to configure drive systems or components to meet their needs. For this purpose, they select the components and their features. All configuration steps are carried out on one page. The features already selected and still to be selected are clearly displayed in a summary at the right of the screen. Various search options such as speed, torque or power facilitate the selection. For the virtual commissioning of the fully configured drive system, the user can now request a simulation model and insert it into a simulated system. In this environment, the drive configurations can be extensively tested, allowing for a significantly faster availability of the entire system.
