‘On the way to Industry 4.0’ – this is the tagline of the upcoming edition of the Innowacje-Technologie-Maszyny ITM Polska fair, which will take place in Poznań on 4-7 June 2019. ITM Polska is a leading trade fair in Central and Eastern Europe, comprehensively presenting Polish manufacturers whose products and services are in line with the idea of Industry 4.0. It is a key forum to showcase technological developments and innovations in the field. World-class exhibitors, professionals in the field of production automation, metallurgy and metalworking, modern machines and technologies, a rich program of accompanying events and a unique atmosphere – all of this makes the show a must for companies looking to optimise their operations in line with the fourth industrial revolution.
The exhibition is divided into several thematic salons: MACH-TOOL (machine tools and tools), METALFORUM (metallurgy, metallurgy, foundry and metal industry), HAPE (hydraulics, pneumatics and drives), SURFEX (surface treatment technology), WELDING (welding technology), as well as an occupational health and safety workshop.
The 2018 edition of ITM Poland 2018 was record-breaking – 1000 exhibitors from 28 countries presented their solutions across 25,000m2 of exhibition space in 10 pavilions. Over the four days, the exhibition pavilions were visited by a total of 17,090 professional visitors from the industrial sector.
The industrial production sector is one of the drivers of the development of the Polish economy, and the level of production is constantly growing. The exhibitors' offer presented during the ITM Poland fair will enable enterprises to develop even faster and gain a unique competitive advantage, based on the latest technologies.
Joanna Kucharska, ITM Poland Fair Director, says: “Industry 4.0 is a notion loudly resonant both in Poland and abroad, which is no longer just the automation and robotisation of production. Currently, it signals a change in business philosophy that requires new tools, including machines and software, new employee competencies, and transformation of customer approach. Demographic problems and currently observed fluctuations on the labour market in Poland may lead to increased investments in technologies that will replace people and thus increase productivity. For Polish companies to be able to achieve international success, they must face the changes and switch to new paths of business management – both in terms of production and related to the use of the human resources potential.
“Industry 4.0 is already becoming a reality in which people, machines and processes are strongly integrated with each other, and production is more flexible and efficient. Good practices and the latest trends in the development of the industrial sector are best observed in Poznań, at the ITM Polska fair – we invite you!”
