Clarke Energy and Trina Storage bring online the Boat of Garten BESS and partner to deliver Bramley BESS, the third project in the Temporis Capital portfolio. The three-project collaboration spans 290 MWh and showcases the evolution of Trina Storage's Elementa platform.
Trina Storage, the energy storage division of Trinasolar, is strengthening its collaboration with Clarke Energy (a Rehlko business) and Temporis Capital across three UK battery energy storage projects, reflecting a growing partnership spanning project delivery, technology and long-term services.

The collaboration began with the Boat of Garten project, signed in 2024 and now connected. This was followed by the Fraserburgh project, with energisation scheduled for 2027.
Most recently, the partners signed the Bramley project, which will deploy the latest Elementa solution and will connect to the grid in 2027.
Together, the three projects represent over 145 MW / 290 MWh of battery storage and showcase the evolution of Trina Storage's Elementa platform.
From project delivery to long-term operation
Beyond technology supply and project delivery, the collaboration extends into the long-term operation of the assets through Clarke Energy and Trina Storage's revenue-aligned LTSA capabilities.
These include dynamic maintenance scheduling designed to support tolling arrangements, providing greater flexibility on when maintenance activities are carried out, as well as advanced metering capabilities enabling multiple Capacity Market contracts within the same site.
The projects also sit within a broader strategic relationship between Trina Storage and Rehlko, through Clarke Energy. The companies have signed an MoU to collaborate in the UK market, combining Trina Storage's battery technology and lifetime warranted performance with Clarke Energy's considerable experience in delivering integrated solutions, maintaining performance and availability of the asset through life.
“Expanding our collaboration with Temporis Capital and Clarke Energy across three projects reflects the strong relationship we have built together in the UK market,” said Gabriele Buccini, Head of Trina Storage Europe. “By combining high-performance storage technology, lifecycle services and strong local partnerships, we can support our customers from project delivery through long-term operation and help maximise the value of their assets.”
Adam Wray-Summerson, Technical Sales Director at Clarke Energy, shared how “our collaboration with Trina Storage and Temporis Capital demonstrates the value of building strong, long-term partnerships across the battery storage sector. From Boat of Garten through to Fraserburgh and now Bramley, we have worked together to deliver projects that combine proven technology, effective project execution and a focus on long-term operational performance. As the UK energy storage market continues to mature, Clarke Energy, as part of Rehlko, remains committed to providing investors and asset owners with bankable delivery and lifecycle support solutions that maximise asset value throughout the project lifecycle."
This collaboration demonstrates a long-term approach to the UK storage market, combining technology evolution, project execution and lifecycle services.
