LMT Tools Tangential Rolling System: A tangential rolling head has two thread rolling wheels that are moved laterally against the workpiece. The thread is formed as the head moves in a direction tangential to the workpiece.
Effective May 1, 2026, LMT Tools has taken over the support of existing customers of the insolvent Adam Rollsysteme GmbH, based in Güster. This does not involve a takeover of Adam Rollsysteme GmbH. Going forward, LMT Fette, a member of the LMT Tools family and the market leader in rolling systems, will ensure the supply of products from its own portfolio. For customers, this means that components, roll heads, and thread rolls will continue to be available. At the same time, they gain access to the group’s full range of services, including its global network and regional sales force. This ensures not only that suitable product solutions are available, but also that customers have personal contacts in their region and technical support directly on-site at the machine.
Stefan Möller, Head of the Rolling Systems Product Line at LMT Tools, explains: “Even during difficult economic times, ensuring a secure supply for our customers was particularly important to us. That is why we provided quick and straightforward assistance even during Adam Rollsysteme’s preliminary insolvency proceedings. By acting swiftly, we were able to help ensure business continuity and reliably meet customer needs. We will continue to support our customers in the future with our service portfolio and technical expertise.”
LMT Tools Reports Positive Results from the PWS-Integration
A year ago, LMT Tools integrated the expertise and know-how of PWS Präzisionswerkzeuge GmbH from Schmölln, thereby strategically expanding the product and service portfolio of its gear cutting specialist, LMT Fette. With the acquisition of machinery, equipment, and experienced specialists, tool reconditioning at the Schwarzenbek location was significantly expanded in terms of both quality and quantity. At the same time, key industrial expertise in eastern Thuringia was preserved, stabilized, and integrated into the structures of LMT Tools. Since then, customers have benefited from a broader range of solutions, consolidated technical expertise, proven quality, and reliable support through the regional sales force as well as on-site application engineering. “We are proud to have successfully integrated the products, machinery, and, above all, our new colleagues in such a short time. The positive feedback from our customers reinforces our decision to integrate parts of PWS into LMT Fette,” emphasizes André Bollow, Head of the Gear Cutting Product Line at LMT Tools.
Customer Requirements as the Benchmark for New Solutions
LMT Tools will continue to focus on targeted skills development, technological strength, and a strong commitment to meeting its customers’ needs. “We are constantly working on new products, technologies, and solutions to enhance performance in the field and improve our customers’ profitability. That is our benchmark – today and in the future,” said Raphael Lienau, site manager at LMT Tools in Schwarzenbek.
