Applicants have until June 27 to submit their bids, which may be judged across five categories: carbon footprint mitigation, supply chain management, efficient job site and built environment, advanced building materials, and new construction methods.
The winners are set to be announced in the third trimester of 2021 and by the end of the year, they will join the directors of the companies in a Pitchday event, along with other companies focused on construction, innovation, investment, and technology.
This event will serve as the scenery for the entrepreneurs to present their solutions, begin a conversation with investors and expand the projection of their businesses.
Under this year's slogan "Build your own legend" seven companies are working to deliver the event and will serve as its adjudicators, including Ferrovial, Hilti, Vinci Group´s Leonard, NOVA Saint-Gobain, Korea's GS Group and Haskell.
CMEX Ventures head Gonzalo Galindo said the competition allows potential startups to work with and "knock on the doors" of seven industry leaders.
