Neuraxpharm Group, a specialty pharmaceutical company that focuses on the treatment of central nervous system disorders (CNS) has announced the acquisition of Farmax, a CNS pharmaceutical company from SVUS Pharma.
Farmax is located in Hradec Králové, Czech Republic and has a strong presence in its host nation as well as Slovakia and Hungary. As well as producing branded and non-branded generic pharmaceutical for CNS disorder, Farmax also produces OTC nutraceuticals.
Farmax has now been rebranded and renamed as Neuraxpharm Bohemia and will commercialise its products under the Neuraxpharm banner. Neuraxpharm Bohemia plans to offer new products to local healthcare providers and patients by leveraging proprietary sales in existing markets in Czech Republic, Slovakia and Hungary.

Already present in over 50 countries worldwide, with a European direct presence in Germany, Spain, France, Italy and Poland, the acquisition sees Neuraxpharm expand its pan-European footprint in Eastern Europe.
