KRESS presents different refrigerated vehicle solutions for "the last mile" and for the economic and efficient downtown logistics .
This aerodynamic design of the cooling structure supports the Windschlüpfigkeit of the base vehicle. There are also important details:
- Largely smooth, jointless outer surfaces of the refrigerated box.
- Recessed outline lights on the front wall.
- Built-in or recessed fitting and surface-level doors.

Other important, beneficial details are not immediately apparent, but are still highly effective and useful for the economy- conscious refrigerated vehicle user : the CoolerBox2.0 is built from DUROLITE panels. These composite panels - developed and manufactured by KRESS - form the basis for excellent payload efficiency of refrigerated vehicles:
- Excellent thermal insulation of refrigerated and freezer bodies. The cold or the desired temperature in the hold is retained longer. The chiller has to turn on less often, wears less.
- Significantly lower dead weight of the box body allows significantly more payload, more payload and that is ultimately decisive for the cost- effectiveness of the transports.
The rugged CoolerBox 2.0 build-up usually lasts longer than a car's life. It can easily be mounted on the next chassis. That does not happen that often. So if the base vehicle and drive type change, disassembly and reassembly of the CoolerBox2.0 can be carried out without problems. In this regard, the refrigerated vehicle specialist KRESS also offers its customers investment security.
"No matter which type of drive is selected. A refrigerated vehicle with CoolerBox 2.0 construction is an investment with a good return. Especially when the total life cycle (Total Costs of Ownership) is expected.
"Already at the last IAA 2016, we also presented a refrigerated truck with electric drive", explains Joachim Kress. "And quite a few of our e-refrigerated vehicles are already in daily use. Ultimately, it always depends on the careful and detailed advice for our customers. Our specialists in the field and in the field bring a lot of practical and always up-to-date experience. From all application sectors."
