Giada, one of the leading developers and manufacturers of embedded PCs and motherboards, servers and storage appliances, will unveil its newly introduced SDM modules in accordance with Intel's new Smart Display Modules specification and reference design at the upcoming ISE 2018 in Amsterdam.
The new modules, equipped with a SoC (System on Chip) processor, can be integrated into the most stylish all-in-one designs as new displays become thinner and energy-efficient performance becomes more important. In addition to the new Intel SDM modules, Giada will showcase its latest embedded PC and motherboard products as well as its digital signage solutions.
Giada is a close partner in Intel's SDM program and will initially launch two SDM modules. A smaller module (109 × 60mm) with an entry-level processor and a larger module (110 × 175mm) with a high-performance processor.

Both SDM modules have no housing and are optimized for digital signage, public kiosks, professional monitors, point-of-sale, projectors, night-time terminals, hospitality and more. They can be used anywhere in retail. The SDM modules provide an all-in-one solution for display providers, giving new opportunities to system integrators and independent software vendors in vertical markets.
