Industrial production in the Czech Republic has increased for the third straight month in June, and at a faster-than-expected pace, according to figures from the Czech Statistical Office.
Industrial production grew an unadjusted 3.4% year-on-year in June, faster than the 1.4% rise seen in May, which was also over the expected growth of 2.0%.
Looking at the individual sectors, mining and quarrying output grew 9.0% year-on-year in June, with manufacturing production showing a 2.1% increase.

Month-on-month, industrial production grew by a seasonally adjusted 1.5% in June.
However, another report from the statistical office showed that construction output growth eased to 7.5% in June from 10.1% in May. Month-on-month, construction output has gained 0.2%.
