Czech façade specialist Sipral has been appointed by the Manchester high rise builder Renaker to work on a £20m-plus project on its Crown Street twin tower residential scheme.
The Great Jackson Street district project will provide 660 flats in 51-storey and 21-storey residential blocks, linked by a podium building.
It is Sipral’s second major project in Manchester after securing facade work on Balfour Beatty’s Manchester Engineering Campus Development, where cladding installation is just starting.

Enabling works are now underway at the 1.6ha Crown Street project, designed by Simpson Haugh Architects, with the scheme expected to be completed in the second quarter of 2022. Sipral is currently carrying out design work on the twin tower blocks and plans to start installation next year.
According to Radim Koštial, CEO of Sipral: “We are really excited about working with Renaker and Simpson Haugh to deliver this new scheme in Manchester. This is a further step for Sipral in the UK market.”
