Following the Arla Fibre launch earlier this year, a new plain variant has been added to the range in order to help the UK hit their recommended 30g of fibre a day. The plain yogurt will sit alongside the four other fruit-based variants.
With no added sugar, the plain yogurt is ideal to accompany a variety of meals and provides consumers with an effortless way to increase fibre intake. With 5.3g of fibre per 150g, Arla Fibre’s new plain format is a low fat source of the nutrient without the taste or texture of fibre.
James Quayle, brand manager for Arla Fibre, comments, “When developing Arla Fibre, we wanted to make sure it was tasty as well as helping to increase intake so it is easy for consumers to just swap their normal yogurt without having to make any drastic changes to their diet. With the introduction of plain into the range, this offers another choice and with plain yogurt being so versatile in usage occasions, Fibre can be enjoyed at any time in a number of different ways, whether it's breakfast or dessert.”

Introduced in January, Arla Fibre is another new innovation from the dairy co-operative that adds value to consumers who are aiding their lifestyles into a healthy, more conscientious direction. Expanding its range in the yogurt industry, Arla Fibre is the front-runner in the market in launching an easy, convenient and great tasting way to eat more of the good stuff and support a balanced digestion. Arla Fibre is also high in protein and a source of calcium; it is fibre for people who can’t be fussed with fibre.
