Finland's ALLU expands into China

Finnish mining and construction equipment manufacturer Allu is set to establish a production facility in China, following its expansion in Europe and Africa.

The expansion reflects the strategic commitment to enhancing the company's global leadership position. According to the company, expanding its position in the Chinese market is key to Allu’s strategy

Peter Trenholm, Managing Director said: “The opportunity for growth and manufacturing in China is fantastic. We have a clear strategy and are continuously developing our network, always striving to fully satisfy customers’ requirements."

"Our people are at the heart of what we do, and safety is one of our key values. The new operational facility gives us the strength we need to invest in the future for the region by providing competitive products.”

The announcement came shortly after the company revealed the plan to invest in a new, dedicated and purposely designed facility in Germany to strengthen the company's operational presence in one of its key markets.

Earlier this year, the company also announced its intention to strengthen its operational presence in Africa, to help secure business growth on the African continent whilst being competitive in the local market.

Finland-based ALLU designs, manufactures and sells products for adding value to customers in numerous applications for processing, separating, sorting, mixing and crushing materials. Typical applications include soil and waste material recycling, processing contaminated soil, transforming waste into usable material.

Founded in 1985, ALLU Finland Oy is one of Finland’s first companies focused on environmental technology. Today, more than 95% of turnover comes from international exports. In addition to Finland, the distribution channel includes its own offices in Sweden, Germany, France, the USA, and China, as well as a dealer network in more than 30 countries.
