Sabert acquires KeCo in latest acquisition

Sabert, a global provider of innovative and sustainable food packaging solutions, has acquired UK-based KeCo via its European subsidiary.

KeCo, which was established in 2015, is a fast-growing UK manufacturer and provider of sustainable foodservice packaging made from paperboard and bagasse.

Its manufacturing facility located in the green belt area of Kimbolton, Cambridgeshire, supplies a wide range of folded carton packaging products including sandwich & deli packaging, fast food & food-to-go products, children’s meal boxes, catering platters & inserts, cartons, trays, and containers to serve the UK foodservice sector.

“The acquisition of KeCo is a unique opportunity for Sabert Europe to further enhance its portfolio of sustainable foodservice packaging solutions. The combination of KeCo and Sabert will support our growth strategy to meet European foodservice customers’ growing demand for sustainable solutions," said Philippe Leemans, CEO of Sabert Europe.
