In all, 21 new packaging designs are on display, including all the of winners previously mentioned at the awards ceremony.

The event itself hosted record-breaking attendance despite the coronavirus pandemic, with over 550 designs from across Europe being submitted.

Liam Montgomery, Museum Manager Museum of Brands said: “Pro Carton’s exhibition last year was a great success so we’re delighted to be partnering with them once again. The association’s message of sustainability and saving our planet couldn’t be more topical, and so we know our visitors will love it.

"As our Museum shows, packaging design is central to brand image and we are seeing more and more brands make the move towards sustainable packaging. The collection of winning packs is truly inspirational and demonstrates just have versatile and innovative cartons can be.”

Tony Hitchin, General Manager of Pro Carton, said: “It’s a pleasure to return to Museum of Brands to display excellence in the cartonboard industry. While some exhibitions at the Museum of Brands take visitors on a trip down memory lane, we’re excited to showcase the sustainable packaging concepts of the future.

"We hope the winning entries of the European Carton Excellence Awards both educate and inspire visitors to act responsibly and choose cartons."

The exhibition will remain open until January 2021.
