The use of innovative technology from allmineral contributes significantly to the increase in production capacity in the Brazilian Espaigão mine. With three powerful alljig® fine-grain setting machines, up to 50,000 tonnes of high-quality manganese ore will be processed to high-quality, world-class quality from August 2017 onwards.
The plant for processing the extracted manganese ore from highly oxidized, iron and silicate-rich sedimentary rocks increases the annual production capacity of the mine from 30,000 to 50,000 tons.Allmineral's long-standing partner Küttner do Brasil has reliably installed, configured and set up the three powerful alljig® fine-grain setting machines for different grain sizes as usual.
The air-pulsed placement machines sort the manganese ore, which is pre-classified in three grain classes. An automated alljig®-G 750x1800 grades up to 15 tonnes of 25 to 75 mm grain size into manganese ore concentrate and a mountain fraction. A further alljig®-G 750x1800 sorts up to 20 tonnes of manganese ores of grain size 5 to 15 mm, an alljig®-F 750x1800 up to 20 tons of grain size 1 to 10 mm.
The alljig® setting machines used in Brazil stand for a robust stability of the physical process with minimum energy consumption. The generation of the set-up for the separation of the particles takes place without wear through pretensioned air. This provides the greatest possible flexibility with respect to the adjustment possibilities of stroke frequency and stroke amplitude. Worldwide, more than 500 alljig® setting machines are used.
