The Airbus leadership overhaul continues, following a difficult few months for the European aerospace giant, with the announcement of its new chiefs of operations and finance.
Dominik Asam, finance director of German semiconductor manufacturer Infineon Technologies, will join the company as its new chief financial officer when current incumbent Harald Wihelm steps down. Asam is an engineer and a former Siemens executive who began his career at investment bank Goldman Sachs.
In the role of chief operating officer for its commercial aircraft business, Airbus has appointed Bosch appliances executive Michael Schoellhorn, replacing Tom Williams who is due to retire at the end of 2018.

Schoellhorn is currently chief operating officer of Bosch subsidiary BSH Home Appliances, which produces washing machines under the Bosch and Siemens brands.
Meanwhile current CEO Tom Enders will also step down in April next year and the company is due to appoint a new chairman in 2020.
