Sensors and mission critical systems transfer data on health status, performance and location of the facility's equipment to Collaborative Operations Centers where sophisticated applications perform advanced data analysis around the clock around the data coming in. With the insights, technicians can quickly detect potential problems, advise on preventive maintenance and propose measures to improve performance. ABB's experts and customers work closely with real-time data-driven decisions that increase operating performance and improve profitability for the business.

New Collaborative Operations Center will support the recently featured ABB Ability TM Performance Optimization service for mining. The remote service analyzes data about mining games around the clock and continuously collects and analyzes data to automatically identify, categorize and prioritize issues that need to be addressed. This data is delivered via predictive messages to both customers and ABB staff so that quick action can be taken to improve features and performance. Thanks to the service, unplanned mining spills are reduced and the security and reliability of the system are strengthened. Other advanced digital services from ABB deliver proactive optimization to ABB ABB Ability TM 800xA control system, PID controller loops, cyber security, drive and rotary machines for all process industries.
